Anita Briem, an Icelandic actress is well-known. Anita is best known as the actress who played Jane Seymour in the TV show The Tudors. Briem began her professional career acting as an actress in the National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. Briem worked as an actress in Iceland in her youth. In the year 16 Briem relocated to London and was a part of a production for the theater of the play Lenin in Love which was staged at The New End Theater. Briem was 19, and was accepted into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. The academy was home to her for three years. Briem earned her degree in Drama and also won the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category. Briem was a part of a variety of productions at RADA which included The Cherry Garden, by Anton Chekhov, and Bernarda Alba's House, written composed by Federico Garcia Lorca.
